Renay has been a professional dancer for 20+ years who discovered the healing benefits of yoga after a hip injury. While supplementing with yoga during her recovery she fell in love with the practice and never looked back. Jordan has been practicing yoga for 10+ years and teaching nearly as long. Her style is a slow embodied vinyasa flow. Rita is an intuitive healer reiki master and massage therapist who has 15+ years experience as a professional massage therapist blending massage therapy, reiki healing, tarot reading, yoga and art. Resident Sound Healer and recent graduate of Cape May Yoga's YTT program, Jill has been practicing yoga and playing tibetan sound bowls for years, but finally decided to take the leap into teaching this past year. Drop in for her signature yin yoga and sound healing class on monday evenings or catch her on the beach for a gentle flow. When not teaching, Jill is passionate about cleaning up nature and sustainable living. She spends her time living in a converted bus and organizing beach clean ups wherever she goes! Taylor is a licensed massage therapist, trained craniosacral therapist and holds her reiki level 1 certification. Born and raised in Cape may, she spent many of her adult years traveling the world, experiencing other cultures and growing into the healer she is today. She always felt passionate about pursuing a career helping others and finally answered the call when she attended massage therapy school in Costa Rica. After learning many modalities such as swedish and therapeutic massage, myofascial, deep tissue and craniosacral, Taylor now offers an intuitively curated fusion to cater to each clients needs. Lia's training specializes in Iyengar Yoga, an alignment based practice. She is also a Transformational Breath Facilitator. She enjoys teaching fun and creative Vinyasa Flow classes that invigorate the mind, body and spirit. She passionately believes it is the connection with our body and mind through the poses and pranayama that bring more of an awareness to ourselves and help us discover who we truly are. This time on our mat is meant to open us up to release negative emotions and energy so that we may create space for positivity, light, love and peace in our hearts! Her dream in opening CMY, was to create a sacred space to share the wonderful gift of yoga and healing power of the breath with all who enter her studio. Addison is a graduate of Cape May Yoga's YTT during 2020, one of the most challenging years we have faced as a collective in recent years. The students had to adapt and change to finish their program online instead of in person but their dedication and support to one another was unparallelled and only served to show what kind of teachers they would be. Addison creates an environment of acceptance, love and peace from the moment she steps in to the studio. She radiates warmth and joy that can be felt by all of her students. Addison's gentle style focuses on slower movements and longer holds allowing the practitioner to truly drop out of their head and into their feeling body!
